A patchwork of things has helped me acquire and maintain a more balanced life. I’d say the largest contributor was adopting ‘radical acceptance’ as a way of life. Basically, I’m constantly, consciously accepting whatever is happening to me. It doesn’t mean I don’t try to change things but it means that I’m not always resisting everything.

Unless monthly payments on renting from the bank are lower than renting from someone else it’s a worse deal. If you rent you don’t need to worry about things like replacing roof, windows, etc.

Also, if you rent you’re more free to pick up and leave vs. being tied to a mortgage.

I guess not. I just went to their site out of curiosity. I couldn’t find any policy statements. Just a vague mission statement type thing.

Update: they have a policy document from 2021 under their ‘governing documents’ heading on the website. The document doesn’t address this issue at all.

Very similar thing happened to me. It felt weird for a little over a year. Like I wasn’t sure who’s eyes I was looking out of.

I can’t afford diagnosis either and I don’t think it would be super useful for me. What it did change is how I organize my life. Now I make sure to have ear plugs/noise cancelling headphones with me. I make sure to have time on my own and/or doing the things I’m in to. The best thing is that I no longer feel like a moron because I’ve mishandled a social situation. Now I can chalk it up to not understanding, learn something, and move on.

Best of luck in your journey!

I’m curious if you could imagine any information that would shift your position on any of your ideas? I’m not trying to be a dick, genuinely wondering.

I’m now realizing that I read your title wrong. my brain messed with the word ‘advertising’ and told me that was referring to the news that’s no longer being allowed on the sites. Stupid brain.

Neat analysis. Was that each of their best laps? I wonder what their delta was over the whole race.

I’ve already blocked it. Maybe a PSA explaining how to do that?

Sounds like a good plan. Don’t allow any demonstrations by adults within view of schools.

I guess you’d have to exempt strikes incase the teachers have a contract dispute.
