Seems like an odd take to me. The drivers are the ones colouring outside the lines. Why should the track change?

Make the off track penalty harsher. At some point (10, 20, 30seconds?) whatever gain a driver may get from going off will be completely cancelled.

Could also remotely cap the power to the car by 20% for a lap.

For a lot of people it does have to be that way though. I just saw an article claiming 7 million Canadians are struggling to put food on the table. They can’t really decide to take the more expensive climate friendly way. A billionaire could absolutely decide to do that though.

“Percentage grades make it possible to differentiate between good work and excellent work more precisely than vague descriptors such as ‘emerging’ and ‘developing,”

This is a dumb take. No one in grade k-9 needs more specificity than the four labels coupled with teacher input. I suspect the people who are against this change are simply against change.

If your pieces are detailed I’d recommend a resin printer. I just got an anycubic photon mono x2 and I’m finding it excellent. I printed this x-wing a couple days ago.

I think you’re talking about the new medication approved to treat postpartum depression.

Increased risk of suicidal thoughts and actions is a very commonly listed side effect of a great deal of antidepressant medications. That’s why you’re supposed to be closely supervised when you start them and report any oddities to your doctor asap.

So it doesn’t increase suicidal tendencies across the board, only in those who are susceptible to that side effect.

Sounds to me like you’re already on the path to having it figured out when you say something like “I know I’ll eventually find a bright side to this”.

I’ve had to come to terms with limitations myself. The thing that’s worked best for me is radical acceptance. Simply always accepting that the present moment is what it is. That doesn’t mean give up improving or anything. It just means that however I’m feeling in the present about my limitations is ultimately not that important. The sun will rise tomorrow regardless of what’s going on for me.

Looking at the picture “the pale blue dot” helps with this idea too.

I was talking to a friend about this the other day. I really can’t understand how back to work legislation is a thing (I realize that’s not quite what happened here but it could have). What’s stopping the workers from simply continuing to strike? Will they arrest ~7200 people? What’s the point of organization if management/the government can just say “nope, you’re done, go back to work”?
