If you add up all the Palestinians murdered by illegal colonists and the IDF, and also add the excess deaths caused by the harsh apartheid conditions since 1948 (?), does the Israeli genocide on it's immediate neighbors over that time add up to more dead than the WWII Holocaust? Does Human Rights Watch have those numbers?

Why does CNN put genocide in quotes in the article after the international court has already ruled that the actions in Gaza meet the definition?

Can anyone explain why Israel is trying so hard to be even more of a pariah state? I don't understand.

Have loved Huawei tablets and phones for years. There's ways around it, but I thought it was so asinine when they couldn't officially put the Google Play Store on their products (aside from the Honor brand) for the last few years.

Update: Garmin replaced the watch. New one works fine. Maybe 1 in 10,000 have some manufacturing issue.

No ECG (lemmy.ml)

Recently splurged for a Fenix 7 Pro. Maps, music to ear buds, the light, battery life all great. It keeps asking me to enable ECG, but at the point where it's supposed to sense something with one's index finger and thumb on the metal ring near the watch face... nothing. Garmin Chat verified I had the right SW update, and said try a few more days. Nothing.

Checked on R*****. A couple folks there with the same problem. It may work for more people after another SW update or two. But do not be surprised if it doesn't for you.
