They have two left feet

On the second night the attendant tried pointing to me my seat. But I cut them off and said: “its ok, this isn’t my first rodeo”

The guy who has been punished from sneaking in his own combine. The guy who was banned from the NHL trying to weasel out of his contract and go to another team.

This is the Maple Leafs masterpiece. ::chefs kiss::

Fair enough , done a little digging. Some things definitely make me question some things

Most people who work for these companies aren’t evil laughing as they break the toes of kittens for their corporate over lords. As many others have said most people go in with the best intentions. Do their best to help companies achieve goals but ensure their products do what customers want. It’s the upper management that comes in and enforces less than desirable programs and enforces eshitification.

It’s a challenging balance and sometimes you just outright lose. People work for these companies for great benefits, connections, skills and the clout that comes from working for huge companies.

I’d argue it’s no different than most roles for most companies. Even look at YouTubers and social media influencers. Some are out there trying to have fun and entertain people with stuff they love. Others are doing anything and everything to make a quick buck even that involves tricking people into storming the capital on a complete lie. Allowing people to risk their livelihoods in the process

I worked for a companies who sole purpose was to allow Fortune 500 companies to pay less then a person who worked at McDonald’s in taxes. You do your best to improve yourself and the company hoping you don’t cross some moral line.

It’s not just Molyneux, even Will Wright has been behind some weird NFT project. As an old boomer that idolized some of these people it’s a real let down. Dark Knight was right man: you either die a hero or become a villain

I’m going to do my best to word this question carefully. I’m not privacy expert and maybe no more than an idiot. I do want to protect myself online.

Which led me to privacy focused cloud based premium solutions. The idea is you can pay for a service so they don’t need to serve ads and scan your data for profit. Services like Kagi , Proton among others offer services for a fee. These services let you pay with a credit card .

My question is , are these services really that private if they have your payment information ? Does it really make sense to pay to not be tracked but still have your information on file and linked to you ?

Is this more of an argument of privacy vs anonymity? Am I looking at this wrong ?

I understand the ultimate privacy is self hosted but for some things like search that limits options. I understand there is crypto for some of these options. But bitcoin isn’t cheap.

Curious to get others thoughts on this ? Please be respectful i am trying to learn…

But I must admit his work was pretty concrete ..

Has anyone gotten US Mobile to work with Graphene OS? I’ve been using ESim since I’ve had the service. And I’ve been using the App to manage my service.

How many of you (if anyone) would love an open world driving game. One with 100s of detailed cars from cockpit in and out. Where the only purpose is to cruise around. No story, no championship just driving for the joy of it. You could see in detail both classic and modern cars.

Would this be pointless to you ? Would this just get boring to you ?

Personally I love just staring at car photos online of new cars released. And I think it be pure joy just to hop into a game and enjoy them virtually while cruising a scenic landscape.

Just curious if anyone else thinks this sounds like a good idea …
