Good on you! It's a pretty good time to be transiting to linux. I transitioned a few years ago, and there were a lot of things that sucked back then, that just aren't an issue anymore.

I'm guessing arch + hyprland isn't "easy weight"? 
i think this is a symptom of a dimension of modern conservative politics that people usually dont understand. neo-fascist politics is liberal, but only for political and corporate elites. the unwashed masses must conform to traditional conservative identity politics.
