You should change the thread title, should be Slovakian not Slovenian.

Fiala, Tusk, Leyen and the rest of comprador gang now wish him well, but he was victim of their own stochastic terrorism, even now the western media routinely calls him "populist" and "pro-Russian" (i.e. traitor).

The incoherent liberal construction of “populism” really grinds my gears. It just means “stuff the Trilateral Commission doesn’t like.”

Oops yeah wrong country

Sorry, the context is confusing for me. Is this a PM who is critical to NATO's development? Or a PM that is critical of NATO?

Was this guy pro or anti NATO?

In what was a stunning comeback for the controversial politician, Fico won a third term as Slovakian prime minister last October after running a campaign that criticized western support for Ukraine. Fico had pledged an immediate end to Slovak military support for Ukraine and promised to block Ukraine’s NATO ambitions in what would upend Slovakia’s staunch backing for Ukraine.

Ahead of the election, Fico made no secret of his sympathies towards the Kremlin and blamed “Ukrainian Nazis and fascists” for provoking Vladimir Putin into launching the invasion, repeating the false narrative Russia’s president has used to justify his invasion.

Good for him.

Now we know why he got whacked.

He was sort of anti NATO. At least very critical of sending more aid to Ukraine.

And they tried to kill him for it. Wonder if this was some sort of deranged liberal too hopped up on anti-Russian propaganda.

Strange how none of the pro-NATO puppets who've gutted the quality of life for their people, destroyed industry, ruined jobs, plunged thousands into poverty and strained finances with more expensive heating and food bills, and openly let the Americans destroy their energy infrastructure and force them under the yolk have not suffered any assassination attempts.

This has been confirmed. The perpetrator is a diehard liberal fanatic.

Juraj Cintula Is the name of the alleged shooter. I was seeing it go around that he was a supporter of the “Progressive Slovakia” party. He’s also a poet and an activist, I also saw an article say he was part of an anti-violence thing too. This is very weird but it seems like Fico is doing well.

Edit: this article is saying that he has worked with a pro-Russian group or whatever, which doesn’t make any sense since Fico is touted as being Pro-Russia. But I guess the idea is that the Kremlin hired him to make Ukraine look bad?

Liberal 'anti-violence' is pacisifm for fascists, bullets for everyone else.
