The White and Red audioengine A2+ is on sale for $215 I've been eyeing the A2+ for a couple of years now. The A5+ non-Bluetooth is on sale for $299 but it's a bit more than I want to spend.

I'm looking for anyone's thoughts on the A2+ speakers. Or if there is a better option for my basic needs. They will be used with an Amazon Echo device or a TV in a small room. I don't really need Bluetooth. I'd rather stay around $200 if there is a better or better + cheaper option.

Thanks!

The drivers are too small. The main driver is 2.75 inches in diameter. Way too small even for a small room. Get more bang for your buck and get something from Edifier or maybe the Fluance Ai41.
