That community should be renamed “links to the craziest and most unfounded shit I can find” but that doesn’t have the same ring as “conservative”
You would think being alone would make for some good echoes
Meta discussion - the existence of this post makes the wonder what moderation tools on lemmy are like? And if there's systems in place to deal with unwanted content.
https://join-lemmy.org/docs/en/users/04-moderation.html
- Users report posts & comments
- Communities have mods
- Instances have admins
- Instances that disagree on how moderation should be done can block the other
Edit: Changed "unmoderated communities" to "unwanted content" to clarify my intent to discuss moderation in general
Do I really have to endure crazies here aswell?
You can block users and there's a big red "Block Community" button at the top right.
You don't have to endure shit, maybe stop brigading other people's communities if you don't like them. You can't possibly willingly search up a community for an ideology you don't agree with, then complain about having to see them.
conservative
A community to discuss conservative politics and views.
Rules:
-
No racism or bigotry.
-
Be civil: disagreements happen, but that doesn't provide the right to personally insult others.
-
No spam posting.
-
Submission headline should match the article title (don't cherry-pick information from the title to fit your agenda).
-
Shitposts and memes are allowed until they prove to be a problem. They can and will be removed at moderator discretion.
-
No trolling.
