Israel has carried out a strike inside Iran, a US official told CNN Friday, a move that threatens to push the region deeper into conflict. The target is not nuclear, the official added.

@KarunaX I think you're right, now. At first I thought it was a bargaining chip to soften the US stance on #Gaza, as per this report.

Well this is certainly interesting.

I don't understand either sides goal.

The US will never let Isreal fall and I don't think anyone will abide by Iran being invaded either
