Reddit is removing years of chats and messages

As it’s private, and shouldn’t be made scrapeable to Google or AI trainers, the data is of little value to Reddit corporate.
And they’re getting rid of the awards system, in favor of “something simpler and more direct?” Like…giving gold? Before they starting trying to squeeze more money out of users?
