What's the best way, shelter (so work profile with officiale app) or dedicated browser without clear cookies (I'm using fennec as default, so wich other would be good choice?) I'm skipping foss app user case cause there's not insta alternative. Thanks

I recommend: Don't.

Doesn't really have anything to do with F-Droid tbh. To answer the question anyway for Insta at least. Take a look at the app "instander"

Instander doesn't work anymore as IG is forcing update since one specific build. If you want to use instander, you got to find the_dise telegram and dig a bit to find a beta version, but it's buggy as hell. He's planed to release an official version "in 2024". No news since dec 23rd.

Aeroinsta seems to be active, it's similar.

Didn't know this one. Looks great. Will test it out. Thanks :)

Instander can your insta account revoked and then you have to do a verification step to regain access. Not sure if you can do that multiple times or if you'll just loose your account

I am using instander for years and never hat any issue with my account. I am not super active mostly casual.

I used it very briefly and very soon after using it got locked out of my account with a message saying my account would be deleted or removed or something to that affect for using third party means to access Instagram. And the option to appeal required taking a pic of my face with my Instagram name written on a piece of paper held up in frame

I hope you continue to be able to use it, I'm kinda bummed I had to stop :(
