Probably a rundown of flags that could or have been used for trivia leagues?

Everyone in the league can produce their own flag as an avatar. The flags are semi-permanent, but they recently held an "amnesty day" where users could submit new designs for their flag. This page compiles the new designs submitted on that day

Thanks. I was wondering if these were puzzles, but I suppose that some users are encoding their nick or motto in the image, and others are just making an attractive design.
