Context: The first one, the character is avoiding going to his best friend’s house because he doesn’t want to see his wife who’s mutually in love with him. The second, Chernyshevsky randomly spends a super long amount of time talking about a type of person that he really likes which will have no bearing on the story.

Under communism, your best friends will be able to legally summon you to appear at their house with a subpoena whenever they want to chill with you

That will also give you a day off, of course.

“Day off?” There’s no days on. The only mandatory place you’ll be required is to your friend’s house if they file a request.

I didn't expected to see this name in 2024, at least not outside Lenin and Marx writings.

I only know this name from the metro station from times I've visited Saint Petersburg. "Chernyshevsky? Cool they named a guy after that stop, it was a pretty good one I guess."

Not surprising they'd name something after him considering how influential the book was on the russian revolution.

It is the most important Russian book of the 19th century fueling the Bolsheviks. I’ve seen others discussing ‘What is to be done’ on here, and it makes sense. Also, I just like making memes that few people will actually understand.
