I'm just about to start the final chapter of Rogue Trader, but the game has lost its appeal. I feel like I'm just going through the motions to get it over with now
Feel that, not with RT but with a few other games I played last year. I've got very little patience for a game that I feel should have ended already.
This feels like the TV adaption of Game of Thrones. It loses its way so badly at the end that it spoils whole thing.
As a GoT fan how dare you.....
But I get what you mean.
I'm a huge GoT fan too. But only the books. The TV show is dead to me!
Outer Worlds on PS5, filling in the space (pun intended) till FFVII Rebirth comes out
Overwatch 2 has been fun, despite my 24/7 tilts
Overwatch was extremely my shit for about 8 beautiful months. And then, when I failed to earn a seasonal Soldier skin I decided I couldn't keep doing this and jumped off.
Overwatch 2 though....maybe.
I've made exactly no progress this past week in RDR2 apart from challenges and hunting for pelts and such, and I might be entering burnout territory. I have an obsessive/addictive personality and it's hard for me to let go until I've finished something, but I think I'd enjoy the game more if I was able to just play through the story instead of trying to grind out some challenges and satchel upgrades first.
On the same note the size of the game is starting to feel a bit daunting, especially with a couple of releases on the horizon I've had my eye on and a bunch of stuff in my backlog I want to get through, again due to me having trouble splitting attention and wanting to finish RDR2 before moving on.
Been a quiet week for me.
I 'finished' Hollow Knight last week and I've not really played much else. I say finished because whilst I did hit credits there's the games 'true ending' that I thought I'd go back and get, and yet a week later...my interest is waning.
That's not a fault of the game, more that I've got limited time and from what I've read, the difficulty spike is pretty noticeable and I'm not sure I want to set off down a road that ultimately leads to a shed load of frustration, which may in turn lead me to resenting the game.
I did however find an hour last night to play a little Vampire Survivors-like game called Death Must Die..It's still in Early Access, and I've only played the hour but I can see this being my new go-to game when I've got half an hour free.
Image Vampire Survivors meets Hades. That's the game. Super addictive, but it's got an overarching story that's easier to follow that Vamps was, and it's got a cast of sexy Hades styled characters that drop in during your run to give you new Boones and what not.
