Lending! Finally! I really don't have any complaints on this episode. Except that again, the lineart just isn't as good as in the manga.
Lending is the real power of the slave ability, and also the secret sauce of this series.
Due to the rewards being covered by the girl borrowing Yuuki, it introduces a complication into the intimacy between him and the girls. Kyouka can't keep him truly to herself if she wants to make the best possible use of his abilities, and none of the girls can really win him over because Kyouka is the only one capable of empowering him by being his owner in the first place (save Himari).
Where this makes the harem aspect different, is that the series doesn't use this a source of romantic conflict, but instead emotional reassurance. The girls don't have room for "wallowing in sadness because the guy they like might pick someone else" when making it through the day comes with a "reward".
And these people are soldiers, combat effectiveness and survival is priority one. If that requires passing the guy around while maintaining positive relationships with the other girls being intimate with him, then that's what has to happen.
