THIS GAME IS TOO STRESSFUL

[–] mysoulishome@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

I’m very glad we didn’t go to OT…my heart can’t handle it

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

4:15am here, and I feel sick! So much stress!

[–] Sirobin@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

Bless Kittle and CMC. Love those dudes

[–] Sirobin@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

Here we go!

[–] mysoulishome@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

Dre Greenlaw won this game … his two interceptions are worth a TD easy… thank you baby jeezus

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 years ago

Bosa is giving Love great pressure now. But GB's offence has possessed the ball for quite a long time

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 years ago

My heart is beating fast now. Although we have big advantages, it would still be a big game

[–] Sirobin@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

HOLY SHIT CAN’T BELIEVE WE WON THAT! Let’s fucking goooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

I can't believe it. Our D team is amazing. My fingers are shaking when I type it. Full of typos

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Touch DOWNNNNNNNNN!

Good QB protection, then a TD for Kittle!

[–] Sirobin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

KITTLE!!!!!!!

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 2 points 2 years ago

CMC!!! oh man we needed that!

[–] mysoulishome@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Fucking hell all Jordan Love has to do is throw to whatever receiver #20 Thomas is guarding and free yards… Why?

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 2 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Why can't our DBs keep their footing? And why does Thomas keep DPIing???

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

I think GB has found our weakness at long-pass defence. If the WR already occupied the position, then DPI was the last solution

[–] mysoulishome@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Killing us…

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

Aiyuk! This throw was not perfect, but he had a great catch!

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

Big play now comes!

[–] Sirobin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (2 children)

While we wait…let’s go Texans!

[–] mysoulishome@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

I was hoping DeMeco Ryans would take out the Ravens too

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 2 points 2 years ago

They have an uphill climb, but certainly doable... I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 2 points 2 years ago

They missed!! Here's our chance!

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 2 points 2 years ago

GREENLAW!!

Sigh of relief.

[–] idoit@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Fuck I can’t believe we won. Hopefully Purdy fixes whatever the hell was wrong with him because he was terrible today. So many inaccurate passes and lucked out with 2 dropped picks. Also holy shit Greenlaw after the int just get down!!

[–] mysoulishome@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I don’t agree that anything was wrong with him or he played terrible. They covered all of his receivers and put him under pressure. When there are no throws you take risks or you get sacked and everything was wet as hell.

[–] idoit@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He had open receivers and even had the right read but he was just super inaccurate. He sailed a bunch of passes where he had an easy open throw. The super low missed screen throw to CMC early in the game was the bellwether for his accuracy. Maybe it was just the rain but he was just not a reliable passer

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 years ago

GB had put Purdy under great pressure from the first to last second. While the pocket was not solid enough, Purdy got zero ints and zero fumbles. I think this is acceptable performance. The heavy rain had a terrible effect for long passes, so I won't scold Purdy's pass accuracy yesterday. Instead, I think Purdy's game reading needs some improvement. There were several plays that we were 2nd&long. It could be better to check-down, instead of targeting a well-covered WR 10+ yards away. As our O-team has a good conversion rate for 3rd&short, a check-down will be more beneficial for us

Also pinging @tko@tkohhh.social and @mysoulishome@lemmy.world for my two cents

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 2 points 2 years ago

I think the rain really messes him up... We saw it in Cleveland, too. Let's hope for clear skies next week!

I always hate when we have Deebo do returns instead of Rayray and this is why… maybe it doesn’t have more injury risk than any other play but I feel like it does

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Agreed. The risk of injury hugely outweighs any benefit we might get from Deebo grabbing a few more yards.

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Well done Moody with that FG. Can't imagine the pressure he was feeling there after the blocked kick earlier and the two misses in the Rams game.

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

This is painful to watch. Just not happening tonight. Niners need a miracle IMO.

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I disagree that it's not happening, nor that we need a miracle. It's a close game, and anything can happen.

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Fair enough, "miracle" is maybe overstating it. Just feels to me like nothing is going right. That fumble recovery was a real ick in the teeth.

On the other hand Greenlaw may just have provided the spark!

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

I'm going back to miracle! :-)

[–] mysoulishome@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Trent Williams ❤️

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

So many 3rd and longs.... :-(

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

We had a tough defence in their first drive. Their defence is tough too.

We need to think about QB protection when we have the ball again

[–] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Holy shit, that was hard work. I cannot believe we won that game.

[–] solidneutral@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 years ago

Let's go!!!

[–] zhenbo_endle@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

what a game

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 1 points 2 years ago

TOUCHDOWN!!

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 1 points 2 years ago

Greenlaw!! Exactly what we needed!

[–] tko@tkohhh.social 1 points 2 years ago

Glad to hold them to three... Now let's get that offense going!
