This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

He is pointing at a TV.

Xi Jinping and Putin taking the high-speed rail to Tianjin, China in 2018-06-08, during Putin's visit.

Comrades, I have made a mistake, the video from China Daily loaded on mobile and I see that he is actually pointing at the speed display above the carriage door, saying that the train was moving at 300 kph.

I shall now see myself to the gulags in shame.

"We are now moving at about three and a half times the typical speed of an Amtrak transcontinental, and about twice its occasionally-reached top speed."

Is this from the train ride he took with Putin where Putin said that trains make him feel romantic?

[–] SpaceDogs@lemmygrad.ml 23 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Even if it’s not I have to share. He’s totally right, trains are romantic. They give me that Ghibli feeling.

Agreed, it is absolutely my favourite way to travel, especially long distance. Air travel is such a hassle comparatively.
Something about the way trains rock puts me right to sleep too, and I struggle to sleep in a bed normally.

I’ve never traveled on those fancy(ish) long distance trains, but even on the AD graffitied light rails in my city with their bland interiors and iffy seats, I’m still put at ease and feel wistful when I’m able to take them from one end to the other.

Can we make this an emoji
