An overdue change imho. I wouldnβt have expected Ayao to be picked but he seems knowledgeable in his field and well liked from what Iβve read about him. I hope he finds as much success transitioning to the TP role as Andrea Stella and James Vowles have.
I read Steiners book, a good read if anyone has access to it and very insightful. I really hope to see him at either Alpine or Sauber as he is such a unique character but canβt help feel that Haas didnβt want to spend the money to really move the team forward.
Maybe he is stripping back to sell to Andretti.
Haas was in dire need of a shakeup, but it hurts to see Steiner gone. Who is going to be our fookin door smasher now?
Hope something interesting comes out of all this
Seems like a major restructuring if Resta leaves as well
Weird timing, being close to the new season. Not sure if itβs been planned for a while but if not, canβt see the new team principal changing anything in time for at least the first half of the year.
Steiner getting kicked to the curb, can only be a good thing.
Very ironic, I'm sure it was Komatsu that Steiner was chastising when he threatened to "make changes" during one of the earlier DTS episodes.
