Trying to sign up on sh.itjust.works l, no verification email sent (lemm.ee)

Hello, I am trying to sign up on sh.itjust.works, and I filled out the sign up form, but when it told me it would send a verification email, it never actually sent it. I tried signing up again and am told the email already exists. I try to sign in and nothing happens, I dont get an error it just doesnt do anything. I have checked my spam folders and got nothing. I signed up on lemm.ee and instantly got the verification email, so it is clearly an issue with this instance in particular.

I'm not too concerned about the account being created here, as my goal was just to move away from lemmy.world due to it never being up, and since I did get an account created on lemm.ee I suppose I dont NEED multiple accounts across instances, but I wanted to bring it up in case anyone else is having this issue as well. I didnt see any sort of support contact information for the instance, just a link to lemmy.ml official support, so if there is a better way to communicate this issue to the admins/people in charge, please let me know.

The big email email providers are not liking the amount of email coming from the server ip. The permanent fix is to use a mail sending service. I do plan on making that adjustment soon.

In the meanwhile send me a dm with your username and email address used and I’ll verify the account for you.

I'm also having the same issue, I never got the email after signing up, I tried sending a DM from another smaller instance but it doesn't seem to have gone through

Finally!!! I had the same issue on two instances and thought it was just me! Thanks for posting this, I never would have tried a third time otherwise. Woohoo!

Might have been a hiccup on the email server. I think we had this very early on with lemdro.id until switching email providers.

I had this issue upon initially creating my account. I tried logging in a few days later and it worked !

I’m in the same boat! Glad to see it’s not just me. Really interested to see what the fix is. Will I have to sign up again with a different name? Is there an option to resend a verification email?
