I see they are hiding under what seems to be a sofa. I share this piece of information in case it ever helps anyone (I attended a canine and feline first aid course last year) be extremely careful when opening a sofa bed when people are home as cats tend to hide underneath because their tail could get caught in the mechanism with very nasty consequences. I don't know if it'll be of help to anyone but I figured it was worth a shot if it can help prevent injuries on even just a single cat.

Good bit of knowledge to have regardless. Kind of like with recliners, too.
Meanwhile my neighbors cat comes inside and cuddles with me on the couch and does backflips trying to nuzzle me.
Aww I had a baby who did that for a solid 4 months after we adopted him. Had to take the frame off my bed because he didn't wanna come out. Poor babies
Thankfully we do not have people over often hehe
My cat finally figured out how to be much less scared over time but he will still be hidden the second a stranger shows up. But he's become brave! If you're sitting down long enough, he will come investigate you as long as you pretend he doesn't exist. If you can do that until he rubs on you, you're besties!
They are positive you're going to eat them.
Awww, poor babies. <3
