No More, just no fucking more. This is catastrophic.

The datacenter must be considered a liar until proven otherwise. These trees are too important to take a corporation with no morals at its word.

American's talk about heritage. These trees are actual american heritage, we can't let them be cut down.

The govenor now plans to move the 50 year old chestnut trees. Those trees are likely between 75 and 100 ft tall. I have no idea how many will survive the move, but I can't imagine its a high percentage.

American chestnuts are rare to the point you can register individual trees. Groves out west only exist because the blight can't cross the US from the east coast to infect them. This could wipe out some of the last remaining natural american chestnuts in existance.

The forests died for your sins.

FFFFFFuck that's bad. That's a big goddamn problem.

American Chestnuts are so rare I almost replied to your comment to say there's no way those are American Chestnuts, just Chestnut trees in America. Then I read the article. Holy shit.

It's the saddest ending to the American Chestnut story I would have imagine.

I need to read the wiki again, but if I may exaggerate, American Chestnut trees were everything people needed to survive. From 1500s to 1800s Chestnuts could be harvested for fuel, food, and shelter. All until the blight and now this..

Not sure why you used google links. Here are the non-google links:

Probably rhetorical question but they used google links because they use the google app, which tracks every link you share. Don't use the google app, folks

Yeah like a google chrome but on your phone

What do you call a pair of nuts on your chest? Chestnuts... and what do you call two balls on your chin? That's right! A data center in your mouth.
