Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Questions which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.
Rule 6- Regarding META posts and joke questions.
Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-question posts using the [META] tag on your post title.
On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.
If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

This is why any discussion of political labels outside of a classroom is meaningless.
The Chinese Communist Party is full of billionaires; Hitler called himself a Socialist; North Korea calls itself a Democratic Republic.
It's like you have to go out and look at the people running for office and pick based on that, and not their Party.
There's some red lines in my life, one of them is not giving healthy food to anyone who justify the poor people starve.
When I met him I wanted to know who really is making the joke, I was hoping he say something humanitarian or sarcastic, instead, he poop in my family, my roots and idiom because in his words "republicans of this country are fucking liberals"
I justify my way to make humor first "with" him and then "at" him, more if he's full of miseducation and ignorance
So you made an awkward declaration about who he is and when he didn't fight your declaration you decided to hold it against him?
I can see countless reasons why one might agree when they are not actually a Republican. It was an awkward question and he thought it was some kind of joke? Or perhaps he thought agreeing would be the quickest way to avoid an argument. Or maybe he didn't think you were trying to entrap him and he wanted you to like him.
New Mexico is a blue-ish State so there's a good chance he might not actually be a Republican.
I was hope people get the joke, USA republicans aren't the same as Spaniards republicans (neoliberals vs progresist) so when I made the joke with him he have say "republicans here are fucking liberals", more reactionary word later I decide never meet again
Oh sorry! Thank you for clarifying, I honestly don't know too much about Spanish politics.
I'm no Republican, but there have been many situations where it was not in my best interests to disagree with someone asking me that.
Republisist, Australian version anyway.
Monarchs are a waste and will be dissolved.
I dont hear this word before, I hope when Australia get republican the word change the significate, like in France, Chile or US
I don't think Spain is a republic, so no.
