An unofficial chapter of the popular Dull Men's Club.

https://dullmensclub.com/

1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of "discuss" rarely comply with this rule.

2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.

3. Avoid repetitive topics.

4. This is not a search engine
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.

There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.

Some other communities to consider before posting:

5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.

6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.

7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with "So" - starting a post with pointless phrases, like "I hope this is allowed" or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

I was thinking that being a red hat, it might be a response to the other much more well known kind of red hat that some people have been wearing of late.

(As in, "he's not making America great again. He's off golfing.")

I prefer him golfing to anything else he does.

I think I'd prefer him jogging or swimming, or doing one of those other "had a heart attack whilst doing it" sports.

We’ll he seems to think he can swim better than an Olympic swimmer so maybe he should show us all how it’s done.

There's always sunstroke and lightning

It will be the single worst hangover of my entire life when he cannot physically golf any more for want of respirations.

It's the perfect gift for a wealthy, neglected wife!

I don’t know why she’s so interested in gardening all of a sudden. I mean, we have Julio to do all the work. He’s here nearly every day, working in the sun with his shirt off… sweating.

I thought that his husband gave it to him before I clicked and read the full story....

Sometimes I am slow. The hat, to me, looks pink. While I, as a man, do wear pink, it is of course cultureally associated with women. So I read "He's golfing" as........... a wife? Which means wearing the hat while hubby is away golfing is............ a pickup line???

Then I realized the community, and comments confirmed it's supposed to be a red hat. Well, a "red hat". heh.

Okay, now that I have the proper context: Nice hat. :)

He's golfing.

Is that what the kids are calling it nowadays?

Men be golfin'!

Needs a nuclear mushroom above the text, then it's clear who exactly went golfing.
