Coffee beans are one of the most confusing items to purchase, so over the past several weeks, I bought 20+ different kinds of coffee at different price points, visited a local roaster, tried roasting my own beans at home and tested a bunch of types of coffee in order to understand the flavor and price differences of coffee beans.

A deep dive into coffee and what the different roasts and brews are supposed to be doing. Be an informed snob.

I thought I was into coffee, but sitting with a coffee nerd at a third wave shop sipping on geishas and trying weird ferments was eye opening. The natural washes I now know are delicious and some of the cold crash ones (I think that was the process i liked) were awesome. It’s a crazy drink that seems like it should be so simple

I have been seduced by natural and honey process beans. All of my recent bean purchases have been natural process. Bring on the funky fruit flavors!
