Show off your side projects

I’ve been working on a project called 100,000,000. The idea is deliberately simple: One person. One photo. One message.

The aim is to build a public collection of 100,000,000 photo-message contributions over time — a snapshot of what people wanted to say at a particular moment. I’ve spent a long time building the website and the systems behind it, and I’ve now opened it to a small number of early visitors rather than trying to launch it loudly all at once.

At this stage I’m especially interested in feedback on:

• whether the idea makes sense immediately
• the homepage and overall experience
• browsing the photo/message gallery
• anything confusing, broken or awkward
• what you think of the concept itself

This is very much the beginning. I’d rather have a handful of people genuinely explore it and tell me what they think than throw a huge amount of traffic at it straight away.
