I've honestly come to the conclusion that a disturbing amount of Europeans, some who are very vocal in their disdain for him and often American culture in general, would like Trump if he sounded less brash and didn't antagonize Europe.

Yes, as much as I agree with the core message of V for Vendetta (people should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people), it's very funny to me that this fanatical religious monarchist has been adopted as a symbol of anti-government rebellion. It's absurd. Fawkes was about as far from an anarchist as you could possibly get.
