Fediverse vs Disinformation

2280 readers
39 users here now

Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.

Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.

What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.

By equipping yourself with knowledge of current disinformation campaigns by state actors, corporations and their cheerleaders, you will be better able to identify, report and (hopefully) remove content matching known disinformation campaigns.

“Prophet” Julie Green — who claims that God regularly sends her prophecies that she posts online through sites such as Rumble — is connected to Trump’s inner circle and has been endorsed by Eric Trump. The president’s son told Green that she’s “so incredible,” stated that he’s saved one of her messages, called her a “warrior,” and thanked her for her “friendship.”

Why would he do it in NYC rather than mar-a-lago or some other conservative hotspot? Why would he attack a supposedly leftist stronghold when he's trying to destroy all the God fearing Christians? If you're going to do a conspiracy theory, at least have some sort of internal consistency.

Because she's setting the ground work for a false flag attack

Because Julie Green here, is a “prophet” in the sense of Muhammad: she will allow assassins make so their “prophecy” comes true, no matter the cost.

It has already begun.

Weird, the only people terrorizing me and the people I care about are self proclaimed domestic terrorists who call themselves Conservatives.

I wonder which color of grippy socks are her favorite

I'm sure someday when it never happens, the people who believe in this woman will change their minds! /s

The usual term for someone who frequently hears voices isn't "prophet" and probably never should have been.

"Something will happen but also it won't happen, so when it doesn't happen, that proves me right!"

I know you're mocking their religious 💩, but “body of christ” here refers to those that “took ‘his’ bread, ‘his’ wine, as my flesh and blood and be born again in me” Which means believers of the Pascal's wager. Which is more important here to show that they can commit genocide in the name of Christ every day, and beg for forgiveness at dusk. This is the generation of duplicitous killers, the wolf in sheep clothing, for their nation isn't here, but in a myth they can't prove.
Every single Christian needs to be seen as a potential genocider, as it is 100% a death cult.
There are no nuance, as they themselves haven't ceased Benjamin Netanyahu’s apartheid “cleansing.” Christians didn't cease ICE either.

Is it bad to wish cancer to other people, right?
