I was not expecting much at this point. A general Direct that's 45 minutes long sounds pretty snazzy. Here's hoping for some cool stuff.

Even cooler that we get a whole separate Zelda one tho. Looking forward to the OoT and movie trailers.

I've been quite out of touch with Nintendo announcements recently - do people reckon this is likely to be a first party, flagship brand kinda thing? New Zelda or Mario?

Edit: Oh wait, there's also a Zelda direct coming? Interesting!

Well, it's their "main" direct, these are generally a mix of everything, unless there is a separate Direct around it. So, new first party announcements, third party announcements, everything from AAA to indie. Everything except Zelda, that is.

Put it this way: This one's big enough to split into two Directs.

Sounds pretty nice

But that's what people said about the State of Play last week, and I've heard those weren't great.

Well, length of the show doesn't say anything about the quality of the show.

Though generally speaking, Directs are pretty good, and State of Plays are kinda average. There are exceptions for both though. So let's hope for the best.

And I am once again setting up my Decapolice prayer circle. I will not stop until we hear from it again!

I'm very curious what they'll end up doing with Smash Bros after ultimate. Wonder if it'll get announced.

Maybe an update to Mario Kart World? Perhaps a DLC that puts some world in the World?

Maybe they'll sue only the first 10 people to attend! You never know! You might win!
