What a liar.

Why would anyone miss a meeting because they got Novocain? It’s a local anesthetic. Is it worse to attend a meeting and have slight difficulty enunciating some words compared to showing up in a stress sweat-soaked shirt?

Oh it doesn’t matter. He made the story up anyway.

I had a root canal done a few weeks ago, and went straight to work afterwards. Half my face was frozen, but who gives a shit? This guy's an idiot.
