Whether they profess to believe such or not, boomers all seem to act as though they think they will be somehow rescued from the findout phase of their fuckaround lives. At best, they might croak from some other thing before the consequences of their actions affect them. Many already have. At this point, though, I realize it doesn't matter if they suffer or not. What they have set in motion is happening irrespective of how they feel about it--and frankly, if they are out of the picture sooner rather than later, they will be less of an obstacle when those of us who are still here have to deal with it all.
