The latter sounds useful? It's one thing Apple does a fair bit better than Google. Sure your apps come over, but often you have to go reconfigure them, along with the widgets etc.

Of course, but I bet, that "seamless" integration will only work if all your backups and configuration are only hosted on Google Drive.

That happened with most of my apps. I use Aurora store and when switching to my new phone only half of the apps moved, and only half of those had any data (logins, ect..). Sure it'll be seamless if your in the google ecosystem.

We can only hope.

It would be great, if these changes were simply baked into SeedVault. ...but given Google's recent history, I'm doubtful.
