Olden Era is kind of the best of these games right now. I'd rather they let that team keep working on it and add a faction or two tbh

I still haven't tried OE, and haven't even followed the discussions about it, tbh – so it really is quite good?

According to the info on Steam, the remake will be done by Ubisoft, while OE was by a different studio. So they might keep working on both in parallel, I suppose.

I really like it! They have some good, unique ideas and a unique take on the factions without being too far from what I love about HoMM 3

For example,the demon faction is more like a hive insect demon faction with insectoid creatures and there's a new cthulhu esque faction.

I feel like there's going to be a new remake announced every week with AI making it cheaper to do it.
