WoW Classic: Season of Discovery, and I recently started my second playthrough of Satisfactory now that Update 8 is out.
Is there any word of Update 8 to stable yet?
Update 8 is on stable. From the wiki
Patch Notes: Early Access - v0.8.3.0 – Build 264901. This patch was released on 14 November 2023. It is the last patch of Update 8 development, bringing its features to the stable branch.
Ah jeeez, I've totally missed that.... Might have to dive in again after I'm done with Jedi: Survivor then.. I think Update 5 was the last time I played now.
I'm nearing the end of El Paso, Elsewhere. It's a pretty cool game. The story is better than I expected.
Fallout 4. After the disappointment that was Starfield, I had a hankering for a Bethesda style game and while not perfect Fallout 4 is just miles ahead and is still a lot of fun today.
I played Everything today. That was both hilarious and wonderful. Like Proteus and Mountain it's definitely not a game for everyone, but if some silliness and philosophy doesn't scare you away, you're probably going to enjoy it.
Edit: If you'd rather just watch it as a short film, then that's possible too: https://cdn.jwplayer.com/previews/SrNsE3Jo-dYsrOfVj or you can let the game play itself for you if you'd rather just lean back and take it all in. Just leave the game unattended for a while and it will start playing itself. Settings for autoplay can be edited in the game's settings menu.
I'm currently playing ultimate ninja 5. As a kid I never unlocked the yellow flash so finally came back to it and cleared master mode. Love the specials in these games, so cinematic
Merged all of my WARFRAME accounts, now I don't care about other games anymore.
RDR2 2nd play through. Just taking my time and exploring in chapter 2.
I'm absolutely smitten with Cobalt Core. It's been called "FTL meets Slay the Spire," but I'd say it's more the former than the latter (which works for me, I liked FTL a lot more). There's also a dash of Hades-style storytelling. This won't have the legs StS can have for the deckbuilding nerds, but I'm having a blast with it.
The writing cracks me up, the soundtrack is phenomenal, and the strategy is keeping me engaged. Also, must protect Riggs at all costs. 💜
I managed to get a copy of Chu Chu Rocket for Dreamcast, so that's been one I've been playing. But I've also continued with my addiction to Backpack Hero (even if it's slowly fading).
I'm back on the Grimdawn life. This game is like crack.
I was playing Laika for a bit. The difficulty is pretty brutal - one of the harder games I've played in awhile. Like, you can randomly die from basic movement mechanics if you're not paying attention. I wasn't having fun anymore, so I had to drop it.
Moved on to Going Under, and that's a lot more my speed
Unravel 2 and Darq .......Amazing games
Xcom: Enemy Within, Long War mod. Firaxis made a masterpiece of a series with Xcom and Xcom 2, and I'm finally delving into the Long War mod made by Pavonis Interactive, and it just adds so much refinement to the game.
And I'm working on finally getting save scumming out of my system, once and for all lol. Its long past time I stopped being a scrub and got good.
I've started playing Vintage Story, and I can't stop!
Just finished Baldur’s Gate 3 and then started Hogwarts Legacy.
I just beat evil West and cyberpunk 2077. I've been playing through death's stranding and today I booted up Chernobylite and I'm having a great time.
Just finished the Talos Principle 2. Now installing Hades.
Going through Fable Anniversary, with Fallout 3 waiting in the wings.
