"She ran away the repo man..."

"I thought it loved me with a love that wouldn't die
Looking at my truck I can't believe it said good-bye"
first time driving in the US, i tried American radio, first channel, chritian talk show about why slavery was good because it introduced slaves to Christianity, changed it, a country song, a love ballad... to his pickup truck.
Real music costs money to license, more than their ads pay for. Artificial stuff costs less, and the ads cover that. It's a whole business model.
That's why you don't have radio stations playing nothing but metal, or more niche stuff like Japanese rock. The market isn't big enough. They wouldn't get enough listeners to justify the ads and the sponsors wouldn't get any return on their investment. So if you pay one of the streaming services, they will serve it to you and recommend within the genre and whatnot because you're paying them for that service.
"My cybertruck ran over my dog then took off with my girl, I'm so sad right now I think Imma gonna hurl"
"but gubmint installed Flocks to stalk her,
Imma give that a whirl"
What do you get if you play country music backwards?
You get your wife back, your job back, and your truck back.
