According to a report in The Washington Post, the woman alleged that her stepfather used Grok to manipulate a photo taken when she was 11 years old to create more than 7,000 explicit images of her. The woman also said that her stepfather was found dead of suicide two days after the images were uncovered in a law enforcement raid.

Jesus fucking christ.

Jesus fucking christ.

I'm sure Grok can make that, too

[–] anon_8675309@lemmy.world 6 points 23 hours ago

Trumpest fucking Trump.

Despite being nailed to the cross, I just realized I've never thought of Jesus and bdsm in the same thought process until now.

Jesus being readied for the cross by the sinful woman seems kinda 4-6th century 50 Shades of Hyssop and worth a peek, Jacob of Serugh & co.

[–] db2@lemmy.world 28 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Not the worst possible ending at least.

[–] Grimy@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

The suicide probably makes it even more difficult for his family. Poor girl probably blames herself. (She shouldn't to be clear but still)

More of this please

[–] BassTurd@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Well, at least one problem took care of itself. Now to kill the Grok.

[–] halezinflames@lemmus.org 19 points 1 day ago

Not shocking. Elon's company sued a state over banning the use of AI to make CSAM.

Elons response when his csam generator generated deep fakes and csam of kids was " we are looking for the people who did this ". No mother fucker it was you who did this.

As if he had 0 responsibility for the release of the csam generator, and took absolutely no precautions on trying to prevent it from happening. No other major LLM company has this issue, and the amount of negligence is on par with leaving a loaded gun at the playground in a park.

What's even worse is instead of immediately shutting down the csam generator elon instead made it so only paying members can generate csam. When people complained again that people where still actively generating csam he simply removed that function to be available in the united States or the uk. So now when someone generates csam of your kids you won't even be aware of it.

Now elon musk is fighting at every instance to fight for his right to be able to generate csam. Including suing states.

Trump says this is legal, and he has pressured states to not make any laws against ai in any shape or form, essentially making it illegal to stop elon musk from making csam.

This is what Ai boosters call a modern marvel and amazing life changing technology.

In the US, sexual abusers have their own political party now.

[–] SnotFlickerman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 19 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Now? Pretty sure abusing women is part and parcel to US governance for most of it's fucking history.

[–] eestileib@sh.itjust.works 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah this is not a party thing, Clinton and most of his administration were Epstein clients.

Releasing the Epstein files used to be a Republican policy position.

[–] SnotFlickerman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Marilyn Monroe singing Happy Birthday Mr. President comes to mind as well.

I don't know why people want to pin it on party rather than people with power often exploit that power for sexual attraction. It's a power and control thing, not a party thing.

[–] Serinus@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Because generally the Dems kick people out of the party for that kind of thing.

The Republicans circle the wagons.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 8 points 22 hours ago

Because it became a thing under MAGA, who are pro-pedophilia.

[–] frongt@lemmy.zip 19 points 1 day ago

It's illegal, in at least three different ways, if that's what you mean. If you are asking why it's possible for him to do it, it's because Elon Musk is a pedophile running a pedophile site with a pedophile-enabling CSAM bot.

[–] Tiger@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

Maybe Todd Blanche, Trump’s personal lawyer defending him against E Jean Carrol’s rape allegations and helper of Ghislaine Maxwell will pursue justice for such crimes?

Thats fucking disgusting

[–] EmilieEasie@fedinsfw.app 5 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Two things, 1. I'm a little confused by all the "she claims" and "alleged" language. I think it would be easy to verify the images exist, in which case the only claims up in the air is who actually created the images, and 2. I feel like if we lived in a healthy society, people would say "wow that's what these tools are being used for? Then I swear off of them until they can be made safe at a minimum." The degree to which people just dgaf will never not be shocking to me, but they especially dgaf what happens to women and children

[–] Bbbbbbbbbbb@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago (3 children)

In America, legally you are innocent until proven guilty in court. Therefore, news organizations need to leave in this ambiguity to avoid any slander or libel suits, especially if it turns out to be a false accusation

[–] EmilieEasie@fedinsfw.app 6 points 1 day ago

Right, so they can say "over 7,000 child abuse images of her were created, allegedly by her step father" but they don't. They make it sound like her entire claim is in doubt.

[–] BC_viper@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Unless youre not white. Then its guilty until proven innocent.

[–] Carl@anarchist.nexus 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The dude committed suicide two days after the cops raided him. So at most, it would be his estate suing people for libel/slander. But you usually need to prove damages (like losing your job, or being forced to move) to win a slander lawsuit, and it’s hard to claim that a dead guy was monetarily damaged by someone saying things about him.

[–] Bbbbbbbbbbb@lemmy.world 2 points 23 hours ago

Well a newspapers lawyer will be very upset if you give anyone any legal opening to sue

[–] eestileib@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I don't use AI, so I guess I'm the person you wish existed?

But this is already against numerous laws, Elon is a felon in multiple countries because of Grok's paid csam generation, it's an illegal business model.

The rich have successfully diverged from the legal system.

[–] EvergreenGuru@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yep, and Elon Musk faces legal trouble in EU countries like France. As our country collapses, he may become unable to shield himself from the consequences of his crimes.

[–] eestileib@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The UK had a prime minister who made his reputation as a prosecutor. He didn't do shiiiiit about grok.

Politicians work for money, and it's an open auction.

[–] EvergreenGuru@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

The UK is no longer an EU country.

[–] EmilieEasie@fedinsfw.app 1 points 1 day ago

I definitely didn't mean that I wish there was just one individual person who swore off AI haha I'm definitely aware that is a thing, but I'm glad to hear it anyway
