VIDEO | 'I never understood why Israel didn't expel all the Palestinians.'

Israeli settler and online personality Rivka Lafair has publicly criticized Israel for failing to forcibly ethnically cleanse the entire Palestinian population during the 1948 Nakba and 1967 war, framing their survival and demographic growth as "unfinished business" that still needs to be addressed.

Video: https://t.me/thecradlemedia/66661

The actual video is so much worse than this description in my opinion.

VIDEO | "I did a leg amputation on a 5-year-old girl, and the only anesthesia that we had was the anesthesia doctor singing to her … We were praying for her to faint ... She stayed awake the whole amputation."

During a recent interview, Dr. Mark Perlmutter shared a harrowing account of performing an emergency amputation on a five-year-old girl in Gaza without any proper medical anesthesia, relying solely on an anesthesiologist singing to keep the conscious child calm through the procedure.

Describing emergency rooms overflowing with children missing limbs, the orthopedic surgeon stated he directly appealed to a US senator to urge President Trump to intervene and halt the relentless Israeli attacks.

VIDEO | 'Israel still occupies the Golan against UN resolutions, against the entire international order.'

United States Ambassador to Turkiye and Special Envoy for Syria and Iraq Tom Barrack publicly broke with official US foreign policy by stating that Israel's continued occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights violates both international law and United Nations resolutions.

The remarks directly contradict the 2019 decision by former US President Donald Trump to formally recognize so-called Israeli 'sovereignty' over the strategic plateau.

The Golan Heights is currently occupied by roughly 20,000 Israeli settlers alongside an indigenous population of approximately 26,000 predominantly Druze residents who maintain their Syrian identity.

❗️Syrian Kurdish leader announces complete integration into US-backed state institutions

ExpandSyrian Kurdish leader Mazloum Abdi announced that the integration of the Kurdish-led administration and its military, security, and administrative institutions into the official structures of the Syrian state is fully complete, effectively concluding the region's pursuit of autonomy.

Speaking in Qamishli during an event marking the city's centenary, Abdi stated that the move opens a "new phase" centered on political efforts to secure and cement Kurdish rights within the country's national constitution.

The milestone follows months of intensive negotiations and a landmark agreement signed in January by Abdi and self-imposed Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa following clashes across the oil-rich northeast.

Under the implementation of the deal, government forces have entered key urban centers like Hasakah and Qamishli, while Damascus has assumed management of regional oil fields and the Qamishli airport.

https://t.me/thecradlemedia/66578

Hmmmm, would you look at that, the SDF folding into the Syrian state, something they completely refused to do during Assad.

"What were they supposed to do?! They lost all arms support from the US!"

Says the western leftist, in a pitiful attempt to justify their support for an imperialist proxy.

In response I say:

THAT WAS GOING TO BE THE OUTCOME FROM DAY ONE!

"Assadists" made this clear every single time the topic of Rojava came up. That their project was predicated on the Assad government existing, and without it, the US would dissolve them immediately, having got what it wanted. Their political project was reliant on how it benifeted US imperialism, therefore making their struggle against the interest of the global working class.

This, according to a basic leninist analysis, should have disqualified support from principaled Communists. Yet, reeking of moralism and chauvnism, western leftists plugged their ears and still expressed admiration for a literal imperialist occupation of a sovereign global south country.

It would be less infuriating if these folks just admitted that our analysis was correct with hindsight at this point. However they still cling on to this notion of Kurdish ~~national liberation~~ eventual ethnonationalism being this thing that every leftist must support. They even go so far into justifying how Kurdish factions in Iraq (who are significantly more aligned with the US and Israel) undermine the core of anti-imperialism in West Asia, the Islamic Republic of Iran.

They are so enamored by the aesthetics of class struggle, that they can not see the material reality of how it is occurring at this very moment!

Truly this fantasy, is a completely maddening display of revolutionary voyeurism.

❗️Georgia refuses to adopt latest EU sanctions against Iran citing strict national interests

Georgia has formally declined to adopt the latest wave of restrictive measures imposed by the European Union against Iran.

According to reports from the Georgian news agency Interpressnews, Tbilisi asserted that its foreign policy decisions and participation in international political initiatives are governed exclusively by domestic priorities rather than bloc alignment.

Tengiz Sharmanashvili, a leading member of parliament from the ruling Georgian Dream party, emphasized that the government evaluates every international resolution through a single criterion of whether it directly serves Georgian state interests at any given moment.

Sharmanashvili bluntly noted that if an external policy measure runs counter to those national objectives, authorities remain entirely indifferent to whose broader geopolitical agenda the measure otherwise supports.

🇮🇱💬🇹🇷 Israel Hayom, an outlet close to the Israeli security establishment, published an analysis arguing that Jerusalem has effectively developed a legal doctrine for striking Turkish assets in Syria without triggering NATO's Article 5 collective defense clause.

The piece, titled "The Abu al-Duhur strike: denial before emplacement," follows Israel's August 18 strike on the Abu al-Duhur airbase in Idlib, roughly 70 kilometers from the Turkish border, eight hits on the runway and facilities, no reported casualties. Israel says the strike was meant to prevent Syria from allowing a Turkish military deployment there; Ankara denies any such deployment was planned.

The core argument: NATO's Article 5 protects Turkish territory, not Turkish troops wherever they happen to be standing. Since the treaty is territorial, Israeli planners reportedly assess that hitting Turkish forces or infrastructure on Syrian soil would not constitute an attack on a NATO member's territory, and therefore would not obligate an Alliance response, even though NATO could still act by consensus if it chose to.

US envoy Tom Barrack criticized the strike as an unnecessary escalation and pointed to the lack of advance warning to Turkey.

🇮🇷 Iran has shifted from a defensive to an offensive military doctrine, said Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces.

Akraminia said the shift does not mean Iran will conduct preventive operations, but that any act of aggression against Iran will now draw an immediate response, and that response could be far larger in scale than the original act of aggression. He added that Iran has fully restored military systems damaged by US and Israeli strikes and brought new weapons systems into service, and that Tehran does not trust its enemies, remaining on guard since the ceasefire was declared.

❗️Knesset reports steep 53% decline in Israeli settler migration and surging outbound migration

ExpandA recent official Knesset Research and Information Center report highlights a dramatic 53 percent decline in the number of Israeli settlers returning to the country between 2022 and 2024, coupled with a steady rise in outbound departures.

Citing data published by Yedioth Ahronoth, the study notes that annual returnees fell from approximately 8,000 in 2020 to about 3,800 by 2024, contributing to an overall migration deficit of roughly 140,000 individuals over that three-year span.

The research indicates that the downward trend is exacerbated by bureaucratic, economic, and social hurdles, including prolonged wait times for state health insurance, fewer financial incentives compared to new settlers, and severe integration challenges.

While North America traditionally accounts for the largest share of returning settlers, arrivals from the US plummeted from 3,700 in 2020 to 1,500 in 2024.

❗️Iran and Russia near formal signing of executive contract for railway project

ExpandIran and Russia are closing in on the official signing of an executive contract for the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway, a cornerstone initiative under the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC), according to a report from IRNA.

Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali announced that both nations have successfully finalized the framework of the agreement and intend to formalize the deal in the presence of senior officials from Tehran and Moscow.

Jalali emphasized that bilateral cooperation extends far beyond political coordination, encompassing vital joint ventures across the transport, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Ongoing negotiations include plans for cross-border natural gas transfers from Russia to Iran, alongside strategic measures to safeguard existing joint undertakings—such as the construction of units 2 and 3 at the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

The strategic railway link is poised to bridge a critical missing segment in Eurasian transit networks, streamlining freight movement from northern Europe and Russia down to Persian Gulf ports. Both governments view the expedited execution of these logistical projects as an essential countermeasure to western economic pressures.

❗️Key points from senior Hezbollah official Mahmoud Qamati's recent interview on Al-Manar TV:

▪️ The Lebanese resistance is exercising tactical patience, remains fully capable, and will confront any new Israeli territorial advances. It categorically denied the presence of Iranian fighters in southern Lebanon.

▪️ Hezbollah keeps the door open to direct US communication if conditions serve its interests, but strongly rejects linking land liberation to its weapons.

▪️ Sanctions will not deter the party from supporting its base. Hezbollah remains committed to ongoing reconstruction efforts, fostering national coexistence among all Lebanese sects, and keeping public protests as a future option dependent on security and political conditions.

▪️ Qamati revealed that Yemen's AnsarAllah offered to close the Bab al-Mandab strait if Lebanon's resistance is heavily cornered. Ultimately, the resistance is relying on patience and steadfastness to achieve full liberation and return forcibly displaced residents to their villages.

❗️Iran finds 212 billion cubic meters of gas in new field

ExpandIran has discovered more than 7.5 trillion cubic feet (212.4 billion cubic meters) of natural gas in a field in southern Fars Province, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said.

Paknejad said that based on the estimated recovery rate, around 5,700 billion cubic feet of gas could be extracted from the field.

He said the field’s recoverable reserves are enough to supply one phase of the South Pars gas field for approximately 15 years.

Paknejad described the newly discovered resource as “sweet gas,” which he said would help lower development and operational costs.

The field also holds substantial quantities of gas condensates, which, alongside the value of its gas reserves, could create tens of billions of dollars in additional wealth for Iran, the minister said.

Idk, I see people say "this is humanity, not evil," but it seems to me humanity can be evil, divine, and everything in between, based on actions.

[–] Malkhodr@lemmygrad.ml 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I find the it grating whenever westerners say "humanity is so cruel" or "humanity deserves the worst for what it's done to the earth," for example. No, this is not "humanity" the source of these crimes against humanity and against the earth is not the primal moral charecter of human beings. The source of theses ills are, especially at this current moment, the logic of capital. It's the logic of endless infectious growth, along with the conversion of all sectors of our soceity to spread this virus known as capital.

This logic pulls the strings of every modern atrocity, and it's home, at this moment, is the imperial core, specifically, the United States. It is not the nature of "humanity" but of humanity dictated by the unconscious whims of capital.

To condemn all of humanity for the crimes perpetuated by and in the interest of, a certain outcrop of humanity (the western world), is just imperialist chauvinism attributing their own actions to the universal human tendency.

Yes, throughout history, cruelty has existed, but it's been due to the dictates of former politcal-economic systems governing soceity. In each case, it was thr crimes committed by certain classes for the express purpose of suppressing other classes and maintaining the benifets for those ruling classes brought about by their societies political-economies.

Humanity is driven by the logic of those systems, and currently it's capitlism that is hedghemonic. And capital has avatars from which it expresses itself in our world. Those vessels of capital have names and places in this world, and they largely reside in the imperial core.

Some Commentary

I'm not sure what he means when he says they haven't targeted US economic infrastructure. Iran very much did strike Data centers in the UAE, and admitted as such. Though, perhaps they are considering that to be military infrastructure under the basis that AI is being used in their drone targeting systems, therefore it was analogous to striking the radios, as it made attacking year more difficult after being destroyed. Otherwise I'm not sure why he's left it out.

❗️Two US tanker aircraft leave Bulgaria after month-long deployment

ExpandTwo US tanker aircraft have departed Bulgaria’s Bezmer air base, Defense Minister Dimitar Stoyanov said on Saturday, nearly a month after their deployment in the Balkan country.

The US had requested the temporary deployment under an agreement allowing the two countries to jointly use military facilities.

Iran had warned that the deployment would amount to complicity in "aggression and war crimes," a claim rejected by Sofia.

The two US Air Force KC-135 tankers left Bulgaria on Friday, Stoyanov told reporters.

Bulgaria’s parliament approved the deployment on 22 July, prompting protests from nearby residents concerned that the aircraft could become targets for Iranian missiles and drones.

Stoyanov said all flights conducted by the aircraft during their temporary deployment were training missions over allied countries and that Bulgaria had "no information about direct threats to our national security."

"We are working in full coordination with the US government and had prior information, which is why all our decisions were well-founded," he said.

❗️More than 1,500 ships stranded in Strait of Hormuz risk triggering global biological invasions

ExpandMore than 1,500 large commercial vessels stranded in the Strait of Hormuz following its closure on 28 February could trigger a global wave of biological invasions, according to a new study published in the journal Biological Invasions.

Prolonged stationary periods during peak spring and summer reproductive seasons have allowed extensive biofouling—consisting of marine microorganisms, algae, and invertebrates—to develop rapidly on the hulls of these ships.

Professor Mario Tamburri of the University of Maryland, the study's lead author, told Anadolu Agency that the situation represents a "worst-case scenario". When these vessels finally resume their voyages, they risk functioning as "super-spreaders" of invasive species to international ports, threatening both local marine ecosystems and global economic activities.

🇮🇱❌🇹🇷🇸🇾一 Israel must stop Erdogan’s military expansion before Turkey reaches its borders. —JP

Jerusalem post report: The lessons Israel has learned in the West Bank, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran apply to Turkey as well. From Idlib to Istanbul, Israel will attack, if necessary, not defend.

🇮🇱❌🇹🇷🇸🇾一 A senior Israeli intelligence official to JP:

  • Unless Israel draws clear red lines in Syria and the Mediterranean, the Turkish army and navy will further encroach on Israel's northern and maritime borders.

  • Israel could find itself facing Turkish tanks on the Golan Heights and Turkish warships off the coast of Kayseri.

🛥️🇹🇷🇮🇱🤔While the public in Turkey and Israel accuse each other, threatening war and fueling tensions, the reality is quite different: business continues, with several Turkish ships arriving today at the Israeli ports of Ashdod and Haifa.

In 2025, trade between the two countries was worth $935 million publicly.

😌🇮🇷— Quds Force Commander Esmail Qaani:

  • "The Palestinian cause, from the river to the sea, is more alive and achievable than ever before."

  • "The expansion of settlements and the crimes of the Zionists are an attempt to escape the deep military, security, political, and social crisis and predicament in the occupied territories, and they cannot conceal their strategic failures from October 7th until now."

  • "Palestine is a living and unwavering cause; it is a cause that will remain steadfast, God willing, until the victory of truth is achieved."

This is very misleading information 🇮🇷— Professor Mohammad Esmaeil Akbari, a prominent Iranian oncologist:

We have introduced a new method for treating cancer for the first time in the world. We targeted a protein called FAP, which is secreted by cells surrounding the tumor, using a special radioactive isotope (rutheium-2268) produced by the Atomic Energy Organization.

Massive Nuclear Nerd Rant Incoming

Alright I'm about to rant because this news is an extremely sloppy piece of reporting. First and foremost, thete is no element known as "Rutheium". There is one named Ruthenium however that just leads to the next issue. Ruthenium (Ru, element 44) can not have an isotope of 2268, literally no element can have an isotope 2268, as that would be thousands of neutrons for, at most, a little more than a hundred protons (which is assuming you're using Actinides or man made elements, all at the end of the periodic table), that is not at all possible. Not to mention, Ruthenium, is not an Actinide, as mentioned, it's about half of the mass number needed to be one, meaning if this was a Ru-2268 isotope (again absolutely impossible) it would mean that it was an isotope with 44 protons, and 2,224 neutrons. To put that into perspective, this thing would have a mass 7.5x the heaviest currently recorded manmade element, Oganesson (Og), with a mass number of 294.

Alright, so now that I've demonstrated why this can't possibly be a single isotope, and why it's utterly absurd to anyone with any understanding of even cursory nuclear science, I'll give my theory on what this actually is. Ruthenium-2268 doesn't exist, however Ru-106, is an isotope that's been in cancer research of this kind according to my search. Now, forgive my ignorance, but I'm not a nuclear health specialists, so I don't understand the specifics of FAP or cancer treatment, however I pursued over some article titles to find that, yes Ruthenium is being used in cancer research.

Essentially, whatever the hell these people are talking about, which the only other source I could find was a Twitter thread, where I think this originated, it requires significantly more elaboration.

They are claiming that Iran's Atomic Energy Organization has developed this isotope (also the name is what I suspected, Ruthenium). However they don't give any source or explanation for this fucking wild naming scheme of Ruthenium-2268, which absolutely requires an explanation. Now, if you think, "oh well the video in Farsi probably explains it better" Hahaha, NOPE! The video, doesn't even explain the process behind producing this isotope, instead it's the Dr speaking about his experience applying to John Hobkins, but choosing to stay in Iran after deliberating with his wife on the benifets of leaving or staying.

Perhaps my mother simply didn't pick up what he was saying, but as far as I know, that's all he spoke about. So now, I'm utterly baffled as to what the fuck these people are talking about, as they refuse to do the bare minimum of trying to explain where they got this info from.

So, I decided to do it for them.

Unveiling the newest radiopharmaceutical for cancer m treatment in Iran

With a basic question on Gemini, I was able to track what I think is the original Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) article describing the process. It was posted on National Nuclear Technology Day, last year, which was on the 20th day of the first month of the Iranian Solar calender, (1/20/1404). Today, is the 6/01/1405 (apologies for using US date writing but that's also the format on the website naming schemes) for reference. This is article describes what actually was discovered.

A treatment using the Lutetium - 177 isotope, which is pronounced "Lutishium" in farsi. So my initial guess on Ruthenium 106, was completely wrong, but the question is why, was this mistake made? The answer is quite simple, in Farsi, Letetium is written:

لوتشیوم

And during a press release, it was accidentally incorrectly typed as:

روتشیوم

The "ر" makes the R sound in English as opposed to "ل" which makes the L sound. So in English it would be translated as "Rutishium" which, obviously does not exist, so autotraslation would probably correct it to "Ruthenium" to compensate.

This is the article that made the press release: Iranian doctor writes new prescription for cancer treatment in the world

Which was posted on the the 1st day of the 6th month, 1405, aka today.

Now the 2268, is still a mystery to me. It's not at all possible so I can't really begin to guess where that came from. The article from a year ago only mentions Lutetium-177, but the current one does say Lutetium-2268. So it's probably some serial number or other classification, because as it stands ot makes no sense, but since it came from the mouth of an actual expert, I very much doubt it's a mistake of words. I think it's just a different naming scheme that got garbled in translation.

Apologies for the long winded rant, but this piece if misinformation very much annoyed me.

❗️In response to a post by US President Donald Trump describing the Strait of Hormuz as "new US territory," the Iranian consulate in Hyderabad, India, published a satirical map depicting the state of California as new territory of the Islamic Republic.

🇮🇷🇺🇸| The US has seized the website of Aparatchi & Telewebion seems to be down and prompted me to leave the website site because it’s missing certificates.

They are both streaming websites for Iranian TV.
