No confirmation of hits in the article. But it sounds like the Russian Black Sea Fleet now only has one safe space, at the bottom of it.

And took out civilians and grain ~~silos~~ terminals

https://www.reuters.com/world/drones-hit-residential-buildings-russias-black-sea-port-novorossiysk-mayor-says-2026-08-12/

And also going to cause economic issues for the world

Because Russia is the world's largest wheat exporter, the strikes on the grain terminals raised fears of a disruption to global supplies. Chicago wheat futures rose around 3% on Wednesday after the attack on Novorossiysk.

Russia's agriculture ministry said it was working to redirect export flows to alternative routes. Russia's main grain lobby group warned last month that Ukrainian attacks could shut down Black Sea grain exports, pushing up prices and causing hunger in Africa and the Middle East.

2 people and from the article it was locating in a shipping terminal that handles grain. Not grain silos themselves. So it's more a disruption to the logistics

It's a war, and putting military assets next to civilian and commercial resources is unethical to use them as a shield to prevent attacks.

Right, grain terminals are much larger than silos tyty for pointing that out.

And it doesn't look so much like hitting military assets because they're a shield as going for both to try and get them to negotiate.

I guess the world will need to stop buying Russian goods until the war is over.

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yes the world will be happy to buy less food. Example middle east and Africa already running low now possibly being priced out of the market

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

We aren't happy. Russia should stop.

Bombing food just fucks over everyone else

"Won't anybody think of the poor economy😭"

Interesting fact, Russia can unilaterally end the war any time they want to.

"Won't anybody think of the poor economy😭

Weird way to say world food supply.

Link to a post where you condemn Russia bombing Ukrainian power infrastructure during winter or go fuck yourself.

At the very least, a post where you condemn Russia for interrupting grain exports from Ukraine.

Right, so despite Ukraine exporting a significant percentage of the world's grain supply, and that supply being significantly reduced YEARS AGO, we only have an issue when Russia is the one blowing up. Literally fuck your own face.

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

That didn't take long for hate

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You're masquerading as someone who cares about global trade but immediately demonstrated you are inconsistent in your beliefs in favor of Russia. You aren't a serious person, and you should fuck your own face.

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 1 week ago

It's impressive and terrifying all it takes is saying neither side should be blowing up food for people to devolve into such hate. But you do you

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yeah it was pretty evil to mix that with military infrastructure

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 1 week ago

Seems like they're targeting both but sure
