Haha, this is starting to get really interesting. My first thought is of the classic 'exclusive gender clubhouse for kids' idea that dates to The Little Rascals / Our Gang show, the Little Lulu / Tubby Tompkins comics, and no doubt many other situations from years, decades or centuries earlier.
Also, there's that neutral go-between that takes political & financial advantage from being trusted by both camps... another ancient classic that Switzerland kind of mastered at one point. XD
