I used to use a config by flickstick videos back in the days :3
I make my own stuff these days, but it was a decent intro into steam input

I do my stuff myself too. Especially loving creating menus or some special configuration with the trackpads involved. But I want to get into gyro a bit more, and was looking for general advice, maybe how stuff works until I get my foothold (just like you :-)).
Yeah the touchpads are nice :3 I don't have my steam controller yet, but I've been using the touchpad on my playstation controller for radial menus for random obscure keybinds that I only need occasionally, especially for modded games like minecraft etc.
Gyro aim is cool :3. I can't go back to console now after getting used to it lol, I've been using it for like.. 2-ish years, so I've tried just about every possible config at this point tbh
Nice tip! I can really recommend RambleCan on youtube! He's made sooo many videos on the 2015 Steam Controller and really helped me understanding Steam Input. He's only just got the new Steam Controller, so there's not a lot of content yet, but I'm certain he'll get up to speed on it pretty soon.
Thanks for the tip as well. I'm looking into his collection for videos he already has. Just for fun until more recent videos come out, because I also used very sparingly the old controller. I know there was a small dedicated of users who loved it.
I've had a lot of fun with it! I think this video was the one that really opened my eyes to what you could do with it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SBcz1BytPnY Absolute madman 😂
