Except this requires companies to implement OS-level age verification. According to the law, the OS has to ask a user their age when creating an account, then the OS has to implement an API that can be accessed via app stores or websites that provides a general age bracket that the user fits into (under 13, 13 - 16, 16 - 18, 18+). I'm a Pritzker supporter but this is awful legislation that opens the door to more intrusive age verification. And good fucking luck getting this to work on Linux/BSD systems or open Android ROMs.
