"The poor get all the breaks! It's not fair!" - Jeff Bozo

Damn that's harsh. Do you have any idea how much you have to pay cleaning services to keep cobwebs out of large non primary residences when they are just sitting dormant for months at time? To ask to pay a tax when these people are already paying so many unseen costs and stimulating the economy in so many ways just seems so incredibly cruel and heartless. Why not just add another tax to the lower middle class that is smaller? There are so many of them that you'd probably make more money anyway. Why is Jeff Bezos the only one that seems to understand how victimized people are becoming simply for having thousands of times more money than the masses?

I want to order a locker from Amazon, and stuff Bezos in it.

What a bizarre way to spell 'wood chipper'.

[–] chiliedogg@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

I was thinking more of the Davey Jones-style locker.

A deep abyss from which there is no return.

Dude looks like Lex Luther, but that's where the similarities stop. Further comparisons are an insult to Lex.

Im not one to pick on appearance, buuuuuut. 99.99999999% of the time I see eyes like that, it's someone who owns way more than they should or has murdered or contributed in murdering.

Hell of a circular vendiagram

They say eyes are the window to the soul.

Lacking a soul, billionaires’ eyes are a window into an empty void.

Early on they learnt (either from example or experience) that money can buy happiness. Therefore more money=more happiness. Unfortunately, money has a strong diminishing return on happiness (when you're poor, a small amount of money buys a lot of happiness. When you're rich, you don't gain much from even a lot more money).

They end up chasing happiness in the form of money. But not matter how much they get it's not enough. Maybe the next thousand/million/billion will do it...

I mean he is also rich and evil like Lex Luthor

[–] LadyMeow@lemmy.blahaj.zone 19 points 1 week ago

Eat shit Beezos.

[–] qarbone@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Like, why can't they shut up? You have capital B billions. You cannot spend it all before you die, not even id you do business like Musk. You can wake up at 2pm every day and forget there is even a city called "New York" on your private island.

Just shut up and live in your paradise paved over human bones. Why the need to pop your head out and give your 2 billion cents when no one wants to remember you and your stolen wealth? Is it that "the criminal always returns to the scene of the crime" sorta compulsion to be visible?

I cannot fathom the minds of these creatures called "billionaire."

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

You don't get that rich if you don't have something deeply broken inside you. You cash out and retire, or decide to move towards sustainability long before you're in the multiple billions of dollars.

Even musk who is seemingly attempting an R strategy for reproduction can leave every child he has over a billion dollars. Enough each child can without working establish themselves a moneyed family. And yet he felt compelled for a trillion. Enough to leave a thousand descendants a billion dollars (before taxes).

Do they really not know how repulsive they are to the rest of us!?

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 week ago

They literally do not have to.

We have to change that

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Nope, they don't really associate with the common rabble, so why should they know that?

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I can feel my hatred radiating off of me in waves, I assumed with the whole world joining me they'd feel it too.

[–] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

It all makes sense, in a way.

Picking up on others’ feelings requires empathy.

If they had empathy, they wouldn’t be billionaires.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

They've also just never had to have a reason to understand the emotions of the plebs. The plebs in their lives are all subordinate to them

[–] kent_eh@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

Annoyingly there are a lot of people who do admire those parasites and aspire to be one of them.

[–] brownsugga@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Look how much plastic he's injected into his face to give himself a chin. Imagine being so obsessed with this physical plane of existence your strive to make others lives miserable

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 week ago

This is what happens when you let insecurity poison your life. It will eventually destroy everything. I wish people just went to fucking therapy or did any kind of work to improve themselves.

[–] Leviathan@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

Don't get it mixed up, Jeff. You absolutely are the villain of this story. You and every other parasite on the working class are the villains of this story.

[–] freebee@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Every time you're about to order from Amazon, first check if what you're looking for is available directly from the producer or at another retailer or webshop.

[–] Leviathan@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Or. Stop going to Amazon at all. I'm on about five years now and I've gone there for one thing that I couldn't get delivered to my country otherwise.

[–] theacharnian@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 week ago

Shut the fuck up Jeffrey.

[–] skhayfa@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

Lex Luthor from Temu
