Been using OpenHAB for over a decade +. Looked at HA years ago but for some reason didn’t like it. Well, just bought a new house so I’m starting over, and holy shit is HA amazing! I’m only a few days in, but with a few dozen devices installed so far, I’m seeing the power.
The dashboards are amazing… all the fine grained info of each device at your fingertips… the clean scripting (both graphical and via code) this is all so fun!
And built in historical status of my garage door opens/close is awesome. I spent days trying to code that in OH. Built right in here. For some reason my wife doesn’t understand why this is so exciting.
Trying to go 100% matter, and expect to have a couple hundred devices when all said and done.
