Lemmy world doesn't let you add multiple images so I added the funniest one I had. Anyway, I absolutely adore Go Diego Go.There are usually no bright colors or loud sounds, and it's very repetitive which I adore. Though unfortunately it has the loud and annoying type of character, aka Rescue Pack... but aside from rescue pack and the fourth wall breaks, I also love this show because it teaches about animals!

Aww that’s sweet! There’s definitely a relatable validity to wanting gentle, low stakes, low-sensory content and I think you’ll find that a common sentiment in autistic spaces.

I usually start my day by watching one of my comfort shows on repeat before having to slog to work and play gentle, repetitive/comfort games to unwind afterwards. Lately it’s a third run through of King of the Hill for me, and I just picked up some DLC for Powerwash Simulator 2 that I’m enjoying. So similarly low-stakes and low-sensory input.

There’s something about wholesomeness too that’s calming. What’s one of your favorite moments/episodes from this series, if you want to share?

PowerWash Simulator 2 has local co-op split screen… I was so happy to discover this. No fiddling or friction with multiple devices and internet problems, can just relax and play together with someone. Just thought I'd share because it's kind of hidden in the top right of the pause menu

That's interesting. I typically prefer more intense stuff, but Diego seems to be an exception. Could just be because hyperfixations/special interests 'rewire' my brain in a way, for example, Stray is a game I find very boring but played probably 50 times now, and spent over a hundred hours playing. I blame it on either the cat or the game being a special interest.

And my favourite episodes are Alicia Saves the Crocodile and Alicia & Whitetail to the Rescue, or just anything involving Alicia in general as she's my absolute favourite (And she's in the image I shared in the post, by the way!)

as for scenes, I don't remember many as I haven't sat down and watched a full episode in like 8 months. But I do have a few scenes I don't like, such as Whitetail falling down a cliff in Alicia & Whitetail, since the white-tailed deer is my favourite animal / special interest and I hate seeing them harmed, or Nico (Diego and Alicia's father) losing control of the boat and almost crashing it into a massive rock while Alicia was onboard in Save the Sea Turtles.

I'm quite sure I've posted posts with multiple images before on lemmy.world. Are you getting an error?

I love the art style of Dora and Go Diego Go, but it's no doubt traumatising for those who grew up in Christian denominations like Jehovah's Witnesses that shun real society, as their religious cartoons are a similar style.

I did enjoy that Moral Orel was done in the same claymation style as Davy & Goliath. But please don't want that show for comfort.

Nah. It's Alicia (Diego's sister)

What do you think of baby jaguar? Good or bad?

Rescue Packs song can get annoying but I like the Spanish version of his song

I love Baby Jaguar! I have a plush of him :3
