Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a battery-powered Zigbee rain sensor that works well with Home Assistant preferably Zigbee2MQTT

Requirements:

  • Battery powered
  • Zigbee (no Wi-Fi)
  • Local operation (no cloud dependency)
  • Reliable long-term outdoor use
  • Available in Europe (Amazon.de would be a plus)

I'm mainly interested in detecting when it's raining, but measuring rainfall amount would be a nice bonus.

Has anyone found a sensor they would actually recommend? I'd especially like to hear from people who have been using one for several months.

Thanks!
