What is the obsession with bathrooms? Why not have them be gender-neutral and let people shit in peace?
It's the same as the sports stuff. The true bigots have realized these are wedge issues they can use to get people who aren't openly bigoted to say "well they have some good points". They aren't good points but a surface-level look from someone who doesn't care that much will see some validity in it. That opens the door for ever more aggressive policies.
