Only until they have brought all institutions under their control and can thus violently suppress any resistance that might threaten their reign of terror. That’s when things will really take a turn for the worse.

Source: Germany from 1933 onward, when the Nazis began systematically eliminating all opposition, until the end of World War II. By about 1936, resistance was virtually impossible, and critics of the regime were mercilessly eliminated.

So the U.S. Nazis are right on schedule, especially considering that they now have entirely different surveillance capabilities that have been in place for quite some time—so it’s to be expected that things will move faster for them.
