Fuck no. Keep American fascist corporations away from Europe.

My thoughts exactly, keep the psychos away.

This is Microsoft showing a little desperation to keep Europe from moving onto fully European cloud solutions, by integrating European solutions into it.

I think firms can still, for now, use Mistral independent of Microsoft, but this does put into question if Microsoft may further reduce Mistral's independence or buy it out eventually once the attention is off them.

Government bodies in EU should keep pursuing tech stacks independent of Apple, Google and Microsoft and not let this lead them astray.

Absolutely this should be get much more negative press over here than it currently is.

The reason I use mistral is because it's not associated with the fucking US and now I gotta look for a replacement again???

All your EU countries are in cahoots with big tech which are not American but global companies.

Wake. Up.

I run mistral locally, fuck cloud computing, I don't rent computers as a service. Self-hosting is the only future that is free. Hunt and scavenge used hardware if you must, but don't rent it.

Im pretty sure Mistral was using AWS before. It is a shame

If Microslop gets powerfucked by the deal somehow, I'm in favor of it.

This is exactly the kind of AI competition users should want: more choice, more deployment options, and less vendor lock in. If European AI companies can scale without being swallowed by US tech giants, that’s good for customers, resilience, and the AI ecosystem as a whole.
