"tariffs helped stem the flow of cheap goods"

yeah that's my number one fucking concern, being fucking, fucked to death by an overabundance of cheap fucking goods

fuck you washington post, i just invented an even deeper level of oubliette than the one we put the people who are like "PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE? WHAT A DYSTOPIA" in, just for the writers of shit like this

the best part is they didn't even call them "cheap" with the negative connotations that can have, they just called them "inexpensive"

hell yeah dude i hate when stuff isn't expensive lmao

Tell the porks this, have them lead by example and don’t fight back when we make labor expensive.

There's nothing I hate more than being able to afford the things I need

WaPo owned by Bezos. Amazon is a big beneficiary of tariffs, they get to be the bulk importer middle man not dealing with direct imports via AliExpress.

as a consumer, i take great pleasure in paying much more of a limited selection of inferior products.

please give me a $40K loan at 7% over 84 months so i can buy a Ford Oilguzzler HXD that tracks my movements and conversations.

China alone has made the middle class lifestyle in the west possible. Literally. There's nothing else to add to it.

Strange how over the last 40 years it was actually good that US companies were outsourcing to China for cheaper goods. But now that entirely Chinese owned companies are exporting to the US it is bad.
