To me this stopped at the PS3. It was the last time anything significant happened. Still love it all, but every generation since I get less and less excited. At this point there isnt even anything else a system can offer thats worth wild.

Veeery true. Nothing has been exciting in tech since the mid 00s.
This word describes it perfectly :
