Tabletop Rpg posts, content, and recruitment posts.

Recruitment posts should contain what system is being played, CW for any adult/serious themes players need to be aware of and whether a game is beginner friendly.

An obvious reminder of no racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia and transphobia.

Emphasis on small independent rpgs like the ones in the TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas but not against dnd stuff.

Seems like a looking for coins in the couch type of decision from Paizo. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Another random mail in concern to a newspaper in the 80's

2026 oh no someone uses a common phrase to express concern over something being a trend.

Given the news about Paizo's financial trouble from last month, I expressed some worry that a hobby I'm invested in might shitify through short term money decisions. Yeah the world will keep on turning, anything you wanted to say about the topic?

I wasn't trying to be mocking but I can see why it can be interpreted that way; I was cracking a joke that people have been rightfully concerned about their favorite companies potentially getting worse in the future; I admit I didn't convey that joke all that well in hindsight (what might seem obvious to the person making the post is absolutely not necessarily obvious to those reading it cause they're not in the heads of the poster)

Thank you for clarifying. I did take the comment as of language policing through mockery, glad to hear that was not the intention.

Paizo has since responded with a blogpost https://paizo.com/blog/archives-of-nethys Seems like mostly a damage control message

I don’t know… seeing how they’re having financial problems, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I think this might be the first time I've seen Paizo being greedy and it's for literally a pittance. I have a feeling this'll be walked back, but it is alarming that they're even bothering with this.
